SYNOPSIS: Unto All Nations opens with Anton Basilovich Novimirov at Mecca, Saudi Arabia. He has been blinded.
His way into the Great Mosque has been secured. Here, he must circumambulate the Kabbah seven times, calling aloud the names of each of the seven ancient patriarchs - Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. This ritual will cleanse both him and the black stone of all sin. His blindness is cured, as the black stone reverts to unblemished white.
No sooner is he healed then Anton is discovered by temple guards. An infidel has penetrated Islam's most holy shrine. The trial for his life starts.
A young and well-schooled princess, Fatimah, the sister of Prince Abdullah, whom Anton saved from the clutches of certain death, comes to his aid. After a night of enslavement, she evades the executioner's sword, only to discover from her father that she has probably gained far more in the eyes of Allah and all Islamic womanhood than her Western-leaning philosophy had bargained for.
Saudi Princess Fatimah becomes the first of many, as Anton is tasked by the Lord to go forth unto all the nations and spread the divine word amongst the peoples of the Earth. Only once this task is complete, may Anton finally return to Russia where he reunites with Ludmila, and she with he - at last. And love once thwarted, yet true and abiding, must address its fate.
Regardless, the will of God is finally put into effect and
Natalia is reconciled as to how she must obey her son's command and kill one of his
children.
