In the calm of Novimirograd, Russia, Basil and Natalia settle in for life as a family. She brings forth the promised child, Anton Basilovich, a peerless son immune to chemical and radiological weapons, a unique human with 48 chromosomes (2 extra chromosomes without any evolutionary precedent). But Anton is not the only child. He has three sisters by an unknown father. To spare his friend Basil from what seems a faithless outrage, and to ensure his breeding program is not jeopardized, Russian President Fyedor Sergeivich Bushkin secretly puts Natalia's daughters (Marina, and the identical (homozygous) twins Ludmila and Maya) out for adoption.
Anton grows up schooled by the Patriarch of Moscow in his life mission: to bring forth the bounty of God's lineage upon the nation of Russia as if a modern day biblical King David living in Eden amidst hundreds of specially selected and educated consorts who are destined to spawn children for the motherland as fast as religiously sanctioned copulation will allow.
Amongst all his friends, most especially his female friends, only the one called "Ludmila" seems to be immune to Anton's divine power of touch. Because she becomes a unique source of calm and solace for him, Anton develops a unique fondness for her that upon maturity blossoms into love. But Ludmila is not alone, for Marina and Maya have matured to reproductive age. They will not be thwarted in their aspirations and they hatch designs of their own to inveigle themselves into Russia's "superhuman" breeding program.
Once again, East and West clash for the ultimate prize -
human flesh. For what is to one superpower - a god-given male and a breeding program of
biblical proportions - must, under the imperative of the national security of the other
superpower, can be no other than the spawn of Satan with his nymphium of iniquity hell
bent on displacing the supremacy of 46-chromosome humanity over the Earth. For it may well
prove true that any of Anton's super-race of children could incubate super-diseases for
which no normal human has any form of natural immunity.
